The Italian Job 2 - Yoga holiday in Puglia , Italy – is nearly full!  Let me know asap if you are interested!  http://www.yogahealthwirral.com/events/2016/10/30/yoga-holiday-puglia-italy

Mother Nature has been a little up and down recently but through our yoga practice we can respond calmly to all weather changes. So if we take a moment to breathe, take a pause and respond using the 3 step breathing space then our perspective can change just like the weather to one of being with rather than fighting against.

In the words of Eckhart Tolle –

Realize deeply that the present moment is all you ever have.

Life is the dancer and you are the dance.

So, we can dance and sing in the rain as Arthur Freed and Nacio Herb Brown put so aptly in their song Singin’ in the Rain.

In our yoga practice this month we are contemplating connection – to the floor as we use it to resist and yield, to the breath so that we can connect more deeply to sensations in the body and to the mind and thoughts just noticing where the mind is during practice. Can we accept the mind wandering and practice bringing it back even if it means doing that many times, can we be where the body is in any moment not where the mind thinks it should be?  It is the connection of all those things during this month’s practices that will help us to develop a deeper connection to our inner self and deepen the level at which we become the watcher of the self.

On a different note, I saw a wonderful quote on the internet recently which made me smile and which reads:

Sounds like a plan!
