Happy New Year and I hope that you have had a restful and restorative, albeit fun holiday time.
Yoga returns to its usual place on Monday 9th January 11.15a.m. at Greasby Centre.
The class is suitable for everyone as yoga is inclusive and as a British Wheel of Yoga teacher the staged approach to asana is used throughout each session so you can connect more deeply to your own being and listen from the inside out to what your body, breath and mind ask of you at each stage.
If you need to rest, simply rest and if i you need to step back a little and stay at a softer stage that helps you to connect the mind to the body via the breath then stay at a softer stage.
Yoga means to yoke and what we are working towards yoking is body, breath, and mind both on and off the mat and if you have a spiritual belief then body, breath, mind, and spirit.
There are plenty of yoga mats, blocks and cushions at the centre but you may prefer to bring your own mat and definitely a blanket for the relaxation at the end!
For those who are members of Total Fitness Gym in Prenton sessions are as usual on Tuesday 12pm and Wednesday evening 7pm. Reminder these classes are for gym members only!
