Namaste all,
we are starting something new this week and will continue to work with it after the Bank Holiday Monday as there won’t be a session NEXT Monday!
We will be starting Salamba Sarvangasana - half shoulder stand - don’t panic will only be approaching the early stages tomorrow via dwi pada pitham - 2 foot support!
As always, there will be strength and balance work to maintain and develop the body as a whole and as always, be wherever you can be in any given moment through listening to the body and breath via the wisdom body deeply!
The purpose of Salamba Sarvangasana -
The pose builds strength and flexibility. Lifting into—and holding—shoulder stand requires a lot of core strength along with upper body strength. It also increases the range of motion and flexibility in your neck and shoulders and can even strengthen your legs and back muscles as your entire body is engaged during the posture
